We at Wagga Futsal, in conjunction with Football New South Wales, have identified a need for a country based Futsal Competition to help develop players from around the region and beyond. The competition targets the age groups Under 10S, 12s,  14s, 16s AND 19s and this year we will have an open mens and womens competition dependent on numbers.

The junior competition is run on a mixed team format with both boys and girls able to play in the same team.

 

Outside of Sydney there is no other cup style competition for Futsal, hence the idea behind giving country players from around the state the opportunity to come together and play against each other to further improve their game and to play against new opposition.

 

The hosting of our cup competition will also help to continue the reputation of Wagga Wagga as ‘The city of good sports’ and further bring to the football community’s notice the standard of players that we have outside of Metropolitan areas.

 

Football New South Wales have supported Wagga Futsal since its inception in 2012 and through their support and the hard work of our organisers we have grown year on year and helped Futsal to become an established summer sport here in Wagga.

 

 Teams in each age group will battle it out for the right to become the winners......
